A rare spot in the forest where the sunlight was able to penetrate within and back light this fungi.
Another bracket fungi with a white edging that I didn't quite get into focus very well.
The lighting is poor and I am unable to really see what I am getting.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
I didn't intend to line things up as they came out in this photo.
Notice the tiny mushrooms underneath to the left.

The first one looks a bit like polished agate. The second ones like a little fountain.
The first one is very shiny, you got the light very well.
Getting caught up on my blog reading for the first time in 2 weeks, I see you've been busy being a shroom paparazzi! I recognize a few from my wanderings and am happy that it looks like you guys might finally be getting caught up on some rain? Hope you folks out west get plenty of it in 2015.
the one is chocolate marshmallow! :)
Very unusual mushrooms, John....Have no idea where you are finding all of these!
I have trouble focusing in poor lighting...shoot I have trouble focusing period...but it is worse on dreary days. Love the first with the sun, but also love the last with those little mushrooms under the big toadstool.
It's a wonderful time of year...
The variety of fungi you're finding is absolutely staggering.
I agree with Oakland, that is some variety.
Amazing, really, that you have found so many different kinds.
