Since I'm currently re-visiting photos from Bodie Ghost Town, this picture of the entrance had the old Stars and Stripes blowing in the high mountain wind of the area.
That's the best I could do for my 4th of July recognition this year.
If the download from clicking on any of the book images below does not work, go to smashwords.com and input the book title in the search bar. There you can download it for free. DO NOT go to Amazon and buy the book. Amazon forces me to set a price.

Great little town but it looks very uninhabitable by the look of the bare landscape. When was decided to make it a state park.
Have a nice fourth of July celebration!
the blue sky is lovely. happy day to you, sir.
Happy Independence day to you. I really like this series on the ghost town. I wasn't following you when you had this on before.
Beautiful blue sky! Hope you had a good July 4th day!
Now I know where this is. I drove past it once and wanted to stop and take pictures. But I was on my way home for my dad's funeral services.
That's a nice place.
Greetings
Love Bodie and the old Stars and Stripes.
I need to get back there some time.
