This was a hard life, no doubt about it.
The cold for me would be the worst aspect of living here.

Its a question of greed, one of the greatest drives for mankind on the moment and not the best one but it made it possible to withstand all the trouble.
I can hear the blowing ice cold wind over the prairies.
It makes me wonder why someone would live there.
quite bleak.
It would be the heat for me.
I think you would be cold all winter and then in summer you couldn't escape the heat! What a life it must have been.
