I brought this feller inside and he seems to like the indoors. Flowers popped out.
Its flowered before. I think it was more just the timing when I brought it inside than anything else.
I was planning to be in the desert at this time, but I don't feel Sinbad is up to any road trips now.
His traveling days may be over. Time will tell.
So I will enjoy my cactus here at home.

That is a nice display blooming so well. Feel sorry for you to stay at home but Sinbad is worth it to keep close to him.
That sound not so good but I agree with Bieb.
Lovely!! Reminds me of the tiny cactuses my Great-Aunt would give us from her flower shop when we were kids.
take care of that old fellow...
Hope Sinbad get his will to travel back - just noticed he has a tail almost has huge as Mr. H, his Australian feline brother!

The cactus is a beauty. Sorry Sinbad isn't feeling like travelling. I know how important it is for you to stay close to him...especially now.
I hope Sinbad is not feeling too bad...he sure has been a faithful traveling companion.
Your cactus is indeed lovely. I will have to wait until spring to photograph more cactus blooms.
I hate to hear this news about Sinbad. I know you want to be out in the desert, but you also want to be a home with your baby. I hope he perks up a bit real soon.
Nature does provide us with the most wonderful beauties such as this cactus. Wonderful shot -- barbara
