I'm happy we came back to see you.
Our route through Yellowstone was from west to east with only Norris Basin along the way having some of the geysers and hot thermal pools to show what Yellowstone is famous for.
Unfortunately the road leading into the parking lot was blocked off - Parking Full.
We continued on having only a few boiling mud pots to observe.
I bet this is his favorite spot in the winter too, nice and warm.
We stopped along the north shore of Yellowstone Lake.
I had forgotten how big the lake was.
A storm was moving in from the west, time to leave Yellowstone.
If you might be wondering why we didn't stay in Yellowstone, camping is reserved out months in advance. If I can't even park in a lot to see some geysers, no way getting a camp site.
What will visiting our National Parks be like a generation from now?
