My first car, a 1954 Chevrolet. It looked slightly bit better than this.
It didn't have the windshield visor though but did have air in it's tires.
It got stolen while I was away in the service. I replaced it with a 1953 Chevrolet station wagon, this color of green that I bought out of a junkyard and even at that it looked better than this. We went on our honeymoon in that car. Years later I had a sedan delivery of the same year. A sedan delivery is a station wagon with no windows on the sides in back.
Sometimes I think I need a sign like this one.
"Please respect my age. I'm old."
1924 Model T.
Imagine cars like this on Route 66 going from Chicago to Los Angeles.

Route 66 is a road to memmory lane!
Amazing old machines, I wonder if any will ever be restored to their full glory.
Those oldies are very special.
