Rocky Mountain High Flowers

Pass Creek
NE of Pagosa Springs, Colorado

We are at 9500' (2895m) in elevation.
That means the flowers this high don't have much time to do their thing
between when the snow melts in the spring and when it falls again later in the year.

Even the lowly little dandelion calls this place home.

Some of these pictures I took while taking Beans for a walk.  She knowingly got into the water this time unlike before when it was an accident.  She was wet up to her elbows and knees.
I guess she doesn't mind getting wet now.

Gorgeous, especially the dandelion.

Cats don't usually tolerate wet feet so I think Beans must be a very special cat. I love those mountain flowers and also the fact that you appreciate them enough to take pictures and post them.... lovely.

Matthew 16 [1] The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.

Revelation 15 [1] And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
