Time to Move?

Quartzsite, Arizona

After eleven days these people moved in too close.  If I can hear you talk, that's too close.  There's acres and acres of vacant desert here and why?  Why right here?  Oh well, what else do I have to do?

This isn't from around here but I thought it appropriate.
Its what I need to discourage people from moving in on us.

Well that didn't last long.  By the time I finished the post above and put the laptop away this guy joined them.  The first three were old folks (like me) and this guy was probably a son or daughter in a big trailer hauling an ATV.  I was going to give it until morning but I knew I would brood about it. I hopped on Gracie and scouted out a new spot no too far away.  I walked back to break camp.

Two more had moved in while I was on the scouting mission, one being another monster toy hauler.  Not a solar panel among them.  Generators will be in full harmony this evening.  I broke camp and pulled out to the sound of barking dogs.  Yep, glad I left now.
I'll sleep good tonight.

Forty minutes to break camp and reset camp.
Time well spent.

  1. So very inconsiderate of other people. And so much space all around. Definitely a good move.... until the next family group moves in!

    1. Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you'll tag along for awhile.

  3. It is good you can move easily to another spot to avoid loud and rude people. Adios muchachas!

  4. That is amazing that there is all that space, and yet they chose to come by you....and with barking dogs, too!
