Rocket Cat

As we were traveling along the highway outside of the town of Sisters a large agricultural sprinkler was overshooting out onto the road.  When we drove through the water spray the sound of the heavy water drops suddenly hitting the windshield scared Beans from her slumber.  In an instant she launched herself straight up from my lap over a foot high landing on all four feet on the floor beside me.  I laughed so hard.  She stood there looking up at me.  Not funny Dad!  After composing herself she jumped back up into my lap.

I need a bigger table to work from...or a smaller cat.

Beans' third toe, referred to as 'toe beans' in the cat world, on each of her front feet is pink.  All the other eight toe beans are black.  You can see the light color fur of her front feet in the top photo where the third toe is.

Can imagine the scene!
That's interesting about the toes. Until three weeks ago I had two cats. One had very pink toes. The other has completely black.
