A Traveler and his Cat exploring America.

We were now in California and had to crossover Cedar Pass (6305 ft) in the Warner mountains on our way into Nevada.  Exactly at five thousand feet Beans was not happy.  She began howling.  I think the air pressure change was bothering her.  We've been at higher altitudes before and I think it was just a matter of having been a long time since she last had to deal with this.
Once we got into tiny Cedarville she was fine.

I love seeing these old advertising murals.

I found a little park in town so she could get out and stretch her legs.
Happy cat now.

Onto our final destination.
