Things to Do Before We Go

On this day we pulled out from Camp Hunker Down but I need to do some chores before we actually leave Sisters, Oregon.

First stop at the car wash and clean the Little House on the Highway and Gracie the Honda trail bike.
Then over to the laundromat to clean clothes and bedding.
Next up after that to the grocery store and stock up.
Finally Les Schwab Tire and see about getting a stuck valve stem replaced and check tire pressures.

Most likely I will be spent after all of this so we will just camp for the night nearby where we were at Camp Hunker Down but over near the rodeo grounds.  Less driving on dirt and getting everything messed up.  Then we will head out in the morning for Bend, Oregon and a few stops there before we continue on south.

I know Beans, you will miss your hunting grounds.
There are more adventures (and hunting) ahead for us.

Good luck on your travels, and I hope you find many more interesting places to park your mobile mansion! Bon Voyage.... and happy hunting to Beans at the next camp site. Many more adventures are in store!

Be sure to check where the forest fires are. It's getting wicked windy.

Lady I talked with yesterday, a local, told me Hwy 97 was closed north of Klamath Falls. It may be open by the time we work our way down there otherwise we will be taking the scenic route through Lakeview which may be better anyway. No hurry, no worry.

It's gotten really weird here in San Francisco. It's 10 a.m. and still dark out. You need headlights to drive for sure. Dark and orange. Never seen anything like it before.
