Out of Order

I had a medical emergency Monday and drove to the nearest hospital in Blythe, California that evening.  This is not COVID related.  Let me tell you I am so glad I made that decision to seek help.  I am better now but don’t know what lies in store for me.  With that uncertainty I am worried about Beans so for her safety and care I have decided to make the drive back to Northern California where I know she will be comfortable and safe.  Just the three hours I was in the emergency room she was so happy to see me come back to the RV at 10:30 PM.  They know when things aren’t right.

Normally I wouldn’t be posting about this but I felt a responsibility to my followers and it just wouldn’t be right to go silent on you.  So I guess the blog will be inactive for awhile.  I hope I can get back on track and not lose those of you who have followed along all these years.
Thank you for being there.
John and Beans

Sorry to hear that, John! I hope they get you patched up and back on your feet real soon. I'm going to miss my daily fix of you and Beans on the road.

Thank you John. I sure do not want to leave here. I spent today putting away everything I just threw in yesterday afternoon. Done. Now ready for the long drive over the next few days.

So very sorry you had a medical emergency , hope you will be ok!! How sad you have to stop traveling and go home. Any chance you can let us know how you and Beans are doing along the way and when you get home? I really do care, will be hoping and praying the best for you both. Thanks for not disappearing and sharing the news- Mary

A medical emergency sounds frightening, and you are so good to care for Beans, and head north, thinking of her care and safety. Be well.

Yes, I appreciate you signing on for the journey only for it to go down in flames right away. You can always go back in time, but better still if you hadn’t noticed, over on the right hand side of the page are links to free kindle books. They have details left out from the blog posts.

Yeah, I have been thinking about it and will try to post something every once in awhile. No doubt we’ll come across some weird person or instance on the long drive back.

Yes and it could have gone really bad. I am just glad I made the decision to break camp during the day “just in case” that night. Well even before night came I knew I had to do this. One reason why I delayed was because of very high winds all day and it not being safe to drive. Fortunately the hospital was only 25 miles away, all Interstate and I tucked in behind a big rig to block the wind.

Oh no. I hope all will be ok. I'm glad you have a safe place to go to, at least until you know more. Be good to each other and to yourself.

Thank you Red. I hope we can get back on the road. I had just made a big plan as what to do this next year too, then this. Check the replies on the other comments for more details of that day and the future of the blog.

Dear John.... you know that we all love you and Beans and we all wish you the very best. Good decision to go back to somewhere safe for both you and Beans for the time being. I've had a couple of those medical emergencies too and I understand your worry. Stay safe, stay well, and stay in touch! You are in my thoughts.
BTW nice shot of your socks!
