I decided to take Gracie down from the carrier. The last time I rode the Honda 90 was in March while in the desert. I had to charge the battery and add some acid and she started right up on the third kick. Only thing is I have no gasoline. It is on reserve now. Oh well, she runs that’s all that matters.
What a great little bike.
I went for a short ride down from the plateau. The campground is up in those trees.
I rode north on the road we came in on as we will be leaving that direction.
I just wanted to know if the graded road was still just a nice.
I wondered what these cliffs will look like thousands of years from now.
Not much further the cliffs gave way to the usual flat grassy plains this part of the country know for.
Looks like we are in for a nice drive next week.North Dakota is on the horizon.
Beautiful scenery, and I love the color of your bike.
YAY Gracie! What a good little bike.
Its going to take a long time for those cliffs to erode, but I'm surprised at so many large rocks that have already fallen. Enjoy North Dakota! Love the look of those grasslands.
Inquiring minds want to ask...are you planning to drive on a gravel road? Or was that just part of the ride-about on Gracie!
It was 6.6 miles in on that nicely graded road. I thought it would be about the same going out northward but just looked on Google Maps and it is only 3.4 miles to a paved road going north, so that’s nice to know. Thanks for prompting me to look.
