Reminds me of Wile Coyote after he looked down and realized he was no longer standing on the cliff edge and only then he falls all the way down to the bottom of the canyon. ‘Splat’ in a puff of dirt.

Did I miss where you explained about the rock forms? Are you doing them?
No, I am not making them. I just find them out here in the desert made by previous visitors to the area and left behind. Nearest camper is over a quarter mile away, barely visible. Nice.
