A No Turkey Thanksgiving

Is this for real?  Is this how it is out there for Thanksgiving this year?

What?!  You mean no turkey for us this year Dad?

I have some for you Beans, no worries.
I hadn’t planned on having any for myself, so I’m fine.

Happy Thanksgiving to you my followers and for my friends across the pond, have a great day.

Glad Beans gets to have turkey! I found Butterball turkeys at Publix for $1.39 lb. I bought two large ones. Don't you like turkey?

Happy Thanksgiving to Beans and John! Whatever your choice may be for feasting, enjoy it! I'm doing vegetarian goodies. So I saved a turkey.

Turkey is fine with me. Just not practical out here in the desert just for one. Besides, I’d rather have some Mexican food just to be different.

Nice. Beans looks happy. Vegan Thanksgiving here, except for the cat. She turns her nose up at Friskies turkey and cheese (had to give several cans to a neighbor), so she's making do with chicken and salmon. She seems thankful, and we are thankful for her company (she's a semi-feral neighborhood cat, not really *our* cat).

Beans has turned her nose up at any turkey of the high-priced sort. But she has no issue with Friskies junk food turkey as you will see in tomorrow’s post.
