Plan 2022

As the year comes to an end and a new one begins I’ve been doing a lot of thinking.

What now?  Where to this time around?

I am leaning towards giving the South another try.  This time we would get going earlier and hopefully miss a lot of the horrible humidity that was our undoing this last year.  Then there are those pesky tornados to consider too.  Oh my!

Staying in one spot for as long as we have this winter is nice but I am more happy to be on the move.
It is a wonderful feeling waking up in your bed, have a wash while the kettle is on for cup then open the shade look out and for a brief moment thinking where am I?
I miss that and Beans always enjoys new sights and smells each day.

In these uncertain, unsettling times all I can do is wish all of you a safe and healthy new year.
Thank you all for traveling along with us.  It means a lot to me.

Now all I have to do is get through this night.

I fall into the category of ‘sensitive vegetation’.

  1. I hope you weathered the cold last night fine. If your travels come into the mountains of western North Carolina, I'll be glad to buy you a cup of coffee! I've offered this for other bloggers, but have yet to be taken up on it. Black Mountain NC is pretty but sometimes has that humidity you've mentioned.
