Comanche Trail Park

On a calm day we left San Angelo for Big Spring, eighty-six miles away.  There was no other choice but a long drive.  That’s just how it is in west Texas.

This was a small six site or so city-run traveller stay for free.  Right by a golf course again.

No one else here.  Nice.  Only bad point was the highway noise up there.

Someone left their speed-wrench for lowering the stabilizers on the trailer.
The hook rod is for moving tire blocks around under the trailer.

A few sites over I found a retractable dog leash.
I have a smaller lightweight one for Beans already.
The things people lose or forget amaze me.

Finally an old couple from Maine arrived.
No Beans.  I don’t want to go over there and visit.
She was tugging on the rope.
She’s getting comfortable once again around people.  More so than her Dad.

Looks like a nice place to stay! I'm surprised at how many pairs of shoes I've seen left in parking lots while traveling.

I usually find they leave behind the mat on the ground in front of the door. One time I found an aluminum 6 bike rear bumper rack. I gave that to my little brother for he and his wife and kids.
