Concannon Lake...Pond...Puddle

This was a floating platform at one time.
The small sign stated that channel catfish were once in the waters.

Nearby was the boat ramp.

Standing on the earthen dam with the outtake below.

I found an image of how this all once looked.
Sad that it is no longer like this.

Q & A

“Do you involve yourself in any social networking?”  —  Long ago I did a few videos for YouTube but it is too much work and quit. I do follow a few YouTubers.  I tried Instagram when I first started out full time on the road but lost interest.  I once saw this description of Facebook: “The place where relationships are perfect, liars believe they are telling the truth, and their world shows they are having a great life.  Where your enemies are the ones who visit your profile the most, your friends and family block you, and even though you write what you are thinking, someone takes it the wrong way.”  Not for me. Twitter, I don’t understand it or how it works.  No interest.

No facebook, no twitter, no instagram. I've lost contact with some people because of it because it seems it's the only way they communicate now. Oh well. Too toxic for me.

I'm glad you respond to comments the next day. It's a bit of communication between people. I am backing out of commenting on FB, though I do like most of the posts I get there...there are just too many people there who are still strangers. I like getting to know fellow bloggers by their posts and their comments!

That is the most perfect description of Facebook I have ever read. I keep face book for family reasons. I have recently given up posting and responding to any posts.

So glad to find out I'm not the only one who never figured out or used Twitter!

Sad that the lake is dried up!

I rarely go to Instagram, YouTube, or Twitter anymore. I do Facebook every day though because that's how I keep up with my family and friends from school.
