Beans Walks to the Museum

 Taylor, Nebraska

Standing at our door we took off for the white house in the center a block over.

The Beans turned the corner and walked up this street to the end.

There stood the Pioneer Log Cabin Museum.

I don’t think it is open sweetie.

Sorry Beans.

Let’s go home.

I want to go explore this yard.
No we can’t be walking in people’s yard Beans.
Come on.

“Oh look dear, there is a man walking his cat.  I have never seen that before.”
We met Raymond and Agnes Poland.  Raymond entered the army after graduating from Loup County Public School.  He made a career of the Army.  Agnes was the daughter of Martin and Anna Appleton.
Nice folks, kind of quiet.  We enjoyed visiting.

Whew, I’m pooped.

Wonderful exercise she had that morning! I wonder what her response to the wood people was...or maybe they were just more trees.

I will bet the Polands were so quiet because they were board stiff.

John, exactly how long did you and Beans converse with this nice couple? Did you speak with any other plywood on your walk? Did Beans join in the conversation? Inquiring minds want to know... Might be time to move along to the next town. Just sayin'.
