The Arnold Nebraska Swamp Cat

We have been in the west side of Nebraska in the past so from North Platte we would be traveling in an northeastern direction.  We would try our luck with the city park in Arnold, pop. 568.

We found it with no problem and what a gem.  It turned out to be a State Recreation Area.

Campsites ring the lake.

Only thing is it costs $10 a night, $25 if you use the electricity.
I would love to stay as long as we did in Oberlin.
What a view from the dining table.

I love the lily pad flowers but cannot get close for a picture.

Lets go explore Beans.
Uh...I wouldn’t go in there sweetie.

Geez, I’m standing water.

Watch out Dad.

I’m outta here.

S you are thinking of the Great River Platte Road Archway at Kearney not quite a hundred miles eastward on Interstate 80.

I love that look on her face just before the leap.

The lily pads and water reminds me of when I lived at a lake growing up!

I LOVE the shot of Beans in the air! Good timing!
